Signature seafood restaurant
El romero is our little and sustainable restaurant located in the charming Plaza España of Mahón, in front of the Fish Market and the Carmen Church. It is worth sitting on its romantic and cozy terrace from which you can enjoy a beautiful view.
In order to offer a unique experience around a table, all the dishes are elaborated with love and care: a fish and seafood restaurant with a touch of creativity and digressions towards the vegetable garden where authentic and delicious flavors are hidden.
Fish and seafood come from Menorca while artisan bread, oil, cheese and honey come exclusively from the farms linked to the Agroxerxa network and it is through this collaboration with the local fishermen and farmers that the roots of a sustainable, healthy and proximity cuisine are found.
El romero has been the first restaurant to obtain the “Marca Menorca Reserva de Biosfera” (Menorca Biosphere Reserve brand), the official sustainability seal of the island.
All the dishes of the menu are gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs.
